Video: Family of Hamilton High School Alum Presents Scholarship

HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI) -The life and legacy of a Hamilton High School graduate was remembered Wednesday.

For the last four years the family of Jessica Nicole Gurley has awarded a $500.00 scholarship to a graduating senior at Hamilton High.

At Wednesday’s award ceremony, Jessica’s father, Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley presented the scholarship to Aubrey Gilliland.

Jessica Gurley was a 2009 graduate of Hamilton. She was killed in a car wreck that same year.

Her family and friends established the scholarship to honor her memory.
