Video: Famed Anchor Dan Rather Speaks at MSU

MISSISSIPPI STATE, MS (WCBI)-A television news icon inspires Mississippi State University students to live their dreams and work hard. Former CBS Evening News Anchor Dan Rather was the special guest speaker for the Student Association’s Global Lecture Series Tuesday night. Rather spoke for forty-five minutes about leadership principles and then took questions from the audience.

Rather left CBS in 2005. He is now the managing editor and anchor of the television news magazine “Dan Rather Reports”. The lecture series is an ongoing program the MSU Student Association produces
