The Lions (11-1) defeated Arizona Western in the Mississippi Bowl, 31-28, taking home the program’s fourth NJCAA national championship in seven years.

No JUCO football program has won four national titles in the modern era.

Freshman quarterback Lindsey Scott, Jr. was named player of the game, throwing for 176 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
