Video: EMCC, Blue Mountain Sign Credit Transfer Agreement
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It’ll now be easier for EMCC students to transfer to Blue Mountain.
East Mississippi Community College and Blue Mountain College have a new partnership. Leaders from the two schools held a signing ceremony today in Columbus.
“Opportunities for our students open doors for families and communities so we could not be more pleased than to form another partnership that allows that to happen,” EMCC President Dr. Thomas Huebner.
EMCC students earning Associate of Applied Science degrees will be able to transfer up to 70 credits toward pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Blue Mountain.
“Any kind of an initiative that pairs two strong academic institutions can only be a very positive thing for the students of Mississippi to have another option that they can pursue seamlessly,” BMC President Dr. Barbara McMillin.
EMCC offers more than 30 of these career-technical programs at its Mayhew and Scooba campuses.
