Video: Former and Current Tupelo Elvis Tribute Winners Take Top Honors in Memphis

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Tupelo is proving to be fertile ground for Elvis Tribute Artists.

The top three finishers in this year’s Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition in Memphis are all past winners of the Tupelo event. First Place winner Jay Dupuis took top honors at the Tupelo Elvis Festival in 2013.

This year’s Tupelo Winner, Ben Thompson, was first runner up in the national event. And third place went to Tupelo’s 2010 winner, Kevin Mills.

The Ultimate Tribute Artist competition is held in conjunction with Elvis Week festivities in Memphis.
