Video: East Webster’s Walker Johnson Signs with East Central CC Baseball

CUMBERLAND, Miss. (WCBI) — One of the top up and coming pitchers in our area is inked to the next level.

East Webster senior Walker Johnson made it official on Monday as he signed to continue his baseball career at East Central Community College following graduation.

Johnson has been lighting it up this fall in the Cotton States Baseball League, as he’s posted a 7-0 record on the mound with a 0.92 ERA along with 91 strikeouts in 39 innings pitched.

He will be one of the best arms that head coach Wes Johnson plans to depend on during the 2018 baseball season with the Wolverines.
