TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Thousands of Bikers in Tupelo started their engines this morning to ride for soldiers and their families.
It’s part of the annual Dixie Thunder Run. The event raises money to help wounded soldiers and their families.
Dixie Thunder Run grows each year as more people hear about the opportunity to help those who sacrifice so much.
“The bottom line is soldiers helping soldiers and citizens helping soldiers, and people helping soldiers, our military is so important to us . Without our military we don’t have the freedoms we possess in this nation,” says Chaplain Rob Gardner.
Bikers rode from Tupelo to Southaven, then from Southaven on to Tunica.
