Video: Dinner Gets a Fresh Look in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) – Aberdeen and Monroe County residents get the chance to dine on homegrown foods Thursday night.

Its called the Farm To Table dinner and featured a meal made from the items sold at the Aberdeen Farmers Market.

The dinner is a creation of the Aberdeen Main Street association and is designed to say thanks to the people who buy and sell in the city while highlighting the Farmers Market.
“It’s great for the economy in Aberdeen. This street is just full on Friday’s and just really enjoyed how the farmers market and meeting all of these people.”
The money raised from the ticket sales to the dinner will go towards the restoration of the Aberdeen Depot.
