Video: Crawford Opens New Town Pavillion

CRAWFORD, Miss. (WCBI) – Folks in Crawford have a new gathering spot.

Town leaders and residents gathered Thursday night at a special ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new community pavilion.

Those in attendance also enjoyed some good food and music.

Mayor Fred Tolon says a lot went into the process leading up to the ribbon cutting.

“It’s been a long time fundraising volunteering. People help plank by plank, brick by brick it was a long process and how does it feel? It feel a great relief and excitement at the same time.”
Thursday’s ribbon cutting also helped kick off Crawford’s 9th Annual Cotton Boll Festival.
