Video: Community Comes Together to Reflect Before School Starts

HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI) –A Monroe County school took a little time for reflection before the hustle and bustle of a new school year.

Area residents and ministers joined students, faculty, and staff for a Prayer Walk at Hamilton High School.

The crowd stopped at several points around campus to ask for guidance, and pray for the best year possible.

“Our school is one of the focal points of our community. Our students, our teachers, our faculty…pretty much everything revolves around our school and the great work our teachers do. We believe in prayer and we want to pray for them.”

School starts at Hamilton Thursday morning.
