Video: Columbus Police to Roll Out Body Cameras Early 2015

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus police officers will be among the first in the region to use body cameras. The cameras have arrived, but Chief Tony Carleton wants to develop a policy for their use and training officers before putting them in the field, which could be as early as the end of next month. A $14,000.00 grant is paying for the cameras.
