Video: Columbus Police Release New Information in Robbery Case

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Columbus Police are releasing new details about a Tuesday afternoon armed robbery on the city’s North Side.

Investigators are searching for two black males. When last seen they were both wearing blue jeans and combat boots. One was wearing a grey tank top with a white t-shirt around his neck. The second suspect was not wearing a shirt.

Police were called to 10th Avenue North after a woman reported she had been robbed.

The victim says the two men flagged her down for a ride. One of them pulled a gun and demanded money.

The victim stopped the car and got the attention of firefighters at the fire station. They called in the incident.

The two suspects ran toward Sim Scott Park.
