Video: Columbus Police Looking into Connection Between Shootings

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) –Columbus Police are looking into a possible connection between 2 shootings in the city.

On Wednesday, we told you about the aggravated assault arrest of 26 year-old Christopher Rice.

He’s accused of shooting another man in the chest on October 20th, near the intersection of Waterworks Road and 7th Avenue North.

Rice’s bond is set at $5,000.00.

CPD tells WCBI that shooting was related to or possible revenge for the homicide of 23 year-old Charles Moody Jr.

Moody was shot in the 500 block of 15th Avenue South on September 19th.

No arrest has been made in that deadly shooting.
