Video: Columbus Middle School Students Learn About Black History Month

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI)-Columbus Middle School students celebrate Black History Month by stepping in the roles of some well known African American leaders throughout history.
From Billie Holiday to Langston Hughes 30 students performed their roles as fellow classmates wrote down their character’s importance throughout history.
Teachers say it’s a way for students to learn history in a new and exciting way.
Students had the chance to vote for their favorite performance from the exhibit.
