Video: Columbus City Council Approves Bond Issue

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Columbus councilmen continues support for the University Park Mall expansion project.

The Council unanimously voted to issue its fifth bond of$1.25 million on the project.

The retail expansion that currently includes Dick’s Sporting Goods and Michael’s began in October 2013.

The price tag of the project is expected to be $8 million when complete.

A completion date hasn’t been set.
