COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A group of 11-year old kids are traveling to follow their dreams.
The Columbus Bulldogs baseball team, coached by Reggie Willis, are headed to Southaven this weekend to compete in the Dizzy Dean World Series.
The event, which will feature teams from around the United States, begins on Saturday.
If the Bulldogs are able to win the World Series, coach Willis and his assistants promised his kids they could shave their heads.
“We’re trying to go win and represent the city of Columbus,” Willis said. “It’s a once in a life-time experience.”
