Video: Columbus Assistant Police Chief Retires

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The former Columbus Police Assistant Chief said farewell to the department Thursday.
Family, friends, and city leaders came together to give their best wishes to Tony McCoy, who is retiring. McCoy came on to the force under former police chief Tony Carleton.
McCoy says he will miss his coworkers the most.
“I will miss the people. I will miss some of the people that I worked with that made the stressful jobs a little more pleasurable or a little more bearable.”
McCoy worked with CPD for a little over a year after spending 23 years with the Tupelo Police department.
