Video: Cold Weather and Threat of Wintry Precipitation Force Postponement of Reenactment

OKOLONA, Miss. (WCBI) -At the time, soldiers fought in rain, sleet, snow, cold or heat. 151 years later it’s a little different story.  The re-enactment of the Battle of Okolona was set for this weekend, but cold and rain have turned the battlefield near Okolona into a quagmire, and more wet weather is forecast this weekend.

The re-enactment has been rescheduled for the weekend of March sixth through the eighth. Most the events that were scheduled for this weekend will still go on.
