COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The Golden Triangle Development LINK will, once again, be in charge of recruiting retailers to Columbus. The city and the LINK ended its disagreement today.
Columbus leaders were considering hiring Alabama-based consultants Retail Strategies to handled the city’s retail economic development. The LINK wasn’t involved in the talks to bring an outside consulting firm to town. Plans never materialized once Columbus and LINK officials parted ways a little more than a month ago. LINK and city leaders believe a unified Golden Triangle will help attract more stores to the Friendly City.
