Video: Change of Address for Noxubee County Residents

MACON, Miss. (WCBI) – Noxubee County residents must use a physical address to receive mail or packages beginning July first.

The change comes after the county’s 9-1-1 system was updated. Old addresses, such as post office boxes, will no longer be accepted at polling places.

Circuit Clerk Freda Phillips says her office can help voters make the switch.

“I would ask all of my voters to please contact the circuit clerk office and let us know if they have not received the new addresses to let us know so that we can give them the new address that we do have here on the record.”

Residents were notified of the change 15 months ago.
