Video: Chamber Helps Teachers Celebrate Start of the School Year

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – It was a little pre-season pep rally for Columbus teachers Wednesday.

Members of the Columbus Lowndes Chamber of Commerce, along with special guest Mother Goose are out spreading the word this week that Educators are Essential.

They’re also spreading a little cheer, with raffles for door prizes and special discounts for the teachers from member businesses.

Wednesday was the first day back for Columbus teachers. Students return Monday.
