Video: Catfish Alley Attracts People From All Over

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — The sun brought many people from all over to enjoy great food and entertainment.

The catfish Alley event was held Saturday in downtown Columbus with activities for the whole family.

A catfish cook-off along with great blues music were among some of the festivities.

There were even bouncy houses for the kids and the Red Tails Theater exhibit.

One resident says it’s a great way to kickoff the Columbus Spring pilgrimage.

“It’s a great opportunity to recognize and celebrate a historic part of Columbus. We got great food and music and great community environment. I’m really happy to be here,” says Scott Colom.

The event wrapped up Saturday night.
