ABERDEEN, Miss.(WCBI) — About a half dozen candidates who lost the Aberdeen City Primary Election got a chance to review the ballots Thursday at city hall.
Candidates apparently had questions surrounding the April 5th election.
Candidates by law have 12 days to re canvass the results that are sealed.
City Clerk Jackie Benson says results will now be certified.
“Yeah its their democratic right to look at, to re look at the box. I don’t think its going to change the results of anything. But yeah, some people just like to look at it. And that’s their right to do so,” said Jackie Benson/Aberdeen City Clerk.
Aberdeen runoff elections is set for Tuesday April 19th.
