Video: Calhoun County Nursing Home Shows Off Facelift

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — The Calhoun County Nursing home hosted their Open House today displaying a newly renovated facility.

The 16-person special care unit got a half million dollar facelift including new paint, floors and chair rails.

“The Residents are able to walk in the hallways with the renovations. It’s a lot lighter. It used to be a little on the dark side. The building was built in the seventies, so the residents are able to ambulate and see inside the rooms a lot better.”

The improvements also feature a new indoor outdoor recreation area for residents.
