VIDEO: Businesses Welcome Trick-Or-Treaters

VERNON, Ala. (WCBI)- Downtown Vernon Alabama was taken over by some pint sized ghost and goblins.

Saturday, was the town’s annual Downtown Trick or Treat.  The crowd favorite event was held today from ten till noon.

Young children and their families were allowed to take their bags to more than a dozen downtown businesses in and around the town’s courthouse for Halloween candy and goodies.

Business owners and operators say it’s fun welcoming the kids.  Subway sandwich shop manager Leanna Frazier says, the kids seem really excited.

Vernon’s Downtown Trick or Treat began more than an decade ago.
