Video: Brian Pearson Introduced as New Amory Basketball Coach

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI) — It was a special homecoming for one Amory alumnus on Monday.

Brian Pearson, a 2006 graduate of Amory High School, was introduced to fans, family and students as the new head basketball coach at Amory High on Monday.

Brian, the son of long-time Hatley basketball coach Alan Pearson, played his college basketball at Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee before joining Amory as an assistant.

For the last three years, Pearson has been the head coach at Tremont High School. He’s led the boys basketball team to a 59-41 overall record in his three seasons with the Eagles.
