Video: Bomb Scare on Columbus School District School Bus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Another bomb threat within the Columbus School District today. This time, it was on a school bus.

It happened just before nine this morning.

Columbus and Lowndes County emergency personnel, along with a bomb-sniffing dog from the Columbus Air Force Base, were dispatched to Bluecutt Park near the Bluecutt Post Office.

A police spokesperson says one of the students riding a Columbus municipal school bus told the driver of a potential problem.

Police aren’t releasing exactly what the child told the driver.

The bus was parked and inspected by officers.

The student was take to the Columbus Police Department.
