Video: Blackjack Road to get Oktibbeha Supervisors’ Attention

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) –Oktibbeha County is closer to improving Blackjack Road.

The Board of Supervisors takes the first step in the application process in today’s meeting.

The board hopes up to three million dollars in grant money will help pay for the work.

Blackjack Road runs, in part, through the Mississippi State campus and here has been an increase in traffic in recent years.

Residents voiced concerned.

MSU brought the traffic issue to the board.

The county hopes to look at contracts in the spring.
