Video: Baptist Golden Triangle Freshens Up Patient Menu

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCB) – The patient menu at Baptist Golden Triangle has gotten a fresh makeover…literally.

The chef and cooks preparing patient meals have canned the pre-packaged veggies and other foods and are using fresh produce.

But that’s not the only change found on the hospital’s “Great Living Menu.”

There will now be selections like baked ziti and herb roasted pork loin and even decadent desserts, all made from scratch.

The goal is to prepare meals that are both tasty and healthy.

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corp. contracted with Morrison Food Service in 2013 to provide the food service throughout its 14-hospital system.
