Video: Award-Winning Sundancer Team Gets Financial Boost from School Board

HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) -A top notch local solar car team is getting some financial help from the Houston school board. The board approved $22,000.00 for Houston High School’s Sundancer team this year, and could add an additional $10,000.00 to the budget for next school year.

The team won their fourteenth straight national championship last summer.

The Sundancer plans for a trip down under later this year to the World Solar Car Challenge in Australia.
