Video: Attempted Robbery at a Verona Restaurant

VERONA, Miss. (WCBI) – Police in Verona are searching for a suspect in the attempted armed robbery of a Hardee’s restaurant. Police say it was around 4 Friday morning as employees were getting to work when a masked African American man forced his way into the Hardee’s restaurant in Verona.

Witnesses say he had a handgun and demanded money. However, the suspect fled on foot a short time later without taking anything. Now, police are asking anyone with information to call Crimestoppers . They are also following leads and checking footage from the store’s security cameras.
