Video: Appalachian Regional Commission Conducts Listening Tour

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Appalachian Regional Commission’s goal is to increase economic opportunities, and today it receives an update on progress.
Commission Representatives met with residents, along with business and political leaders at MSU today for a status report on current projects, and input on what should be done in the future.
“Our strategic plan for the next five years will help us focus our resources in areas, in projects, and investments that make the most sense, and provide the best return for the U.S. taxpayer.”
The A-R-C works to improve economic development, job training, and infrastructure in 11 Southeast states.
