Video: Angel Tree Registration Underway in the Golden Triangle

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) –Christmas is just three months away, and that means it’s almost time to start giving

Registration for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree Program began Monday.

Needy families can sign up for the program through September 30th from 9AM to Noon and 1 – 3 PM

Major Cheryl Phillips with the Columbus Salvation Army says they are gearing up for the season, and asking the public to help out.

” We are helping needy children that truly, truly need your support. So, anything you can do, any groups that want to do an Angel Tree, you can do one at your location: churches, businesses, whatever, or we will have a tree set up at the Mall in November.”

If you wish to register for the Angel Tree, You can go to the Columbus Salvation Army.

You will need to show proof of income and current expenses.
