VIDEO-Amory Humane Society Shelter Open House

AMORY, Miss (WCBI)- Pets, for some they will make the perfect gift this holiday season.  And, if you’re interested there are plenty to pick from at Amory’s newly renovated humane society shelter.  On Saturday morning more than a hundred cats and dogs were on full display while the shelter held an open house.  The open house comes after months of renovations that began in June.  The facility now has a new holding area for animals awaiting adoption and a new isolation area to treat those who need medial attention.  If you missed Saturday’s open house, you can still check out the newly renovated facility.  The shelter offers scheduled tours on any day of the week.
