VIDEO: Alzheimers Walk For A Cure
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI)- It’s one of the largest organized walks in the country and Starkville put its best foot forward this morning.
The walk to end Alzheimers kicked off at the Oktibbeha County Courthouse. The walk and others like it across the country help provide a major portion of the money for the national Alzheimers association.
With one of three seniors dying from the disease it is one illness that can touch almost every family.
There are currently 5-million Americans living with Alzheimers and it is estimated that Alzheimers related costs will top 236 billion dollars in the U.S. in 2016.
