Video: Afternoon Auto Accident Sends 3 to the Hospital

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — An afternoon crash sends three people to the hospital and snarls traffic on a busy road in Lowndes County. The accident occurred a little after  2PM. A gray Ford Taurus was coming off the East Columbus exit and was turning on to Highway 50 when it collided with a white Chevrolet Impala.

Both vehicles suffered major damage. The driver and a passenger in the Impala, and the driver of the Taurus were all taken to Baptist Golden Triangle with unknown injuries. The Columbus Police Department is still investigating the incident.
