ABERDEEN, Miss. (WCBI) — Aberdeen’s quiet warrior is ready to bust out on the junior college level.

Senior Queshod Young signed his letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Mississippi Delta Community College following graduation.

Young helped carry the Bulldogs during his final season at the school, averaging nearly 24 points and 3 assists per game for head coach Jaworski Rankin at Aberdeen.

A 5’9 guard, Young finished his career shooting 40% from the perimeter and pulling down over 175 rebounds during his time at Aberdeen.

He tells WCBI he is appreciative of all the attention he’s received from coaches that have recruited him up until this point.
