MACON, Miss. (WCBI)-It was an afternoon of thanks at the Cambridge Manor in Macon.

Today, residents of the nursing home were treated to a Thanksgiving dinner.

It’s apart of the Crosswalk Youth Ministry of Hopewell MB Church project.

Youth Director, Laphilbia Smith told WCBI, “To always give back; there may be some opportunity where you may serve someone that may not be able to serve you back. As long as you gibe it’s a blessing.”

This is the second year the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church has served Thanksgiving meals to the Cambridge manor.
