Video: 4H State Congress Begins With International Flair

MISSISSIPPI STATE UNIVERSITY, Miss. (WCBI) -4 H members from across Mississippi have converged on the Mississippi State campus this week.

The youth organization is holding its annual State Congress, and Wednesday members got to take a trip around the world at the “International Village”.

Visiting members got to experience a literal “taste” of the cultures of India, Japan, and Kenya. They were treated to traditional dishes from each of the countries, and they got to see examples of native culture and customs.

4 Hers will also be electing State officers, testing their current skills in a number of competitions, and picking up new ones at workshops.

The State Congress wraps up Friday.
