Victim Shot In Leg, Refuses To Cooperate With Police

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – A person is shot outside of someone else’s home in Columbus.

Around 10pm, Columbus Police went to the 1300 block of 9th avenue north after getting a call that someone had been shot.

When they spoke to the homeowner, that person told police that another person had been shot outside of their home.

The victim left the area before police arrived and was later taken to the emergency room and treated for a non life-threatening injury.

The 31-year-old victim had been shot in the leg and refused to cooperate with the investigation.
