Victim of fatal Lee County car accident identified

LEE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The victim in a fatal Christmas Day car accident in Lee County has been identified.

Linda C. McMinn, 78, of Mooresville, died Wednesday when her vehicle left the road and hit a tree.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said McMinn was traveling eastbound on Highway 178 just before 1:30 p.m., near Mooreville when the crash happened.

Troopers said she died at the scene.

MHP is investigating the fatal wreck.
