Update: Two Armed Men Rob Lowndes County Store

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Lowndes County deputies say two masked men held a clerk at gunpoint before running away with money from the Country Mart convenience store.

The armed robbery happened Wednesday, just before 10 PM, at the Highway 182 store.

Investigators say the clerk was held at gunpoint.

The employee was not injured.

Deputies used tracking dogs just after the hold-up, but no arrests have been made.

Detectives describe the robbers as two black males, who are anywhere from 5′ 6″ tall to 6′.
