UPDATE: Missising Former Tupelo Police Chief Was Found Safe

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) – Edward Crider, 88, has been found safe and sound after going missing Monday morning from his Tupelo home.

According to the Daily Journal, Crider was found in Russellville, Ky. around 10 p.m. Monday evening after a silver alert was issued by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.

Russellville is approximately 284 miles from Tupelo.
