UPDATE: Arrest made in Columbus death investigation

LOWNDES COUNTY (WCBI) – A Columbus man is charged with Manslaughter in the Monday night accident which killed a Columbus woman.

Jonathan Bardely, 29, is accused of being the driver of the car which clammed into Deanna Clark, 32, pinning her to a tree.

Bardely fled the Aileen Drive scene before surrendering to the Lowndes County Sheriffs Department Christmas Day

Bond in the case has not been set.
