United Way Kicks Off 2013 Campaign

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – The United Way of North Central Mississippi officially kicks off its 2013 campaign.
The campaign kicked off today at Starkville’s Sportsplex with a meet and greet with the different organizations helped through contributions, like the American Red Cross, Habitat For Humanity and the Salvation Army. This year’s financial goal is 300-thousand dollars.
“Our theme this year was one community, one team, live united and we were thinking about a tailgating them just getting the community together so that everyone joins in as a team and can participate as one community,” says executive director Nikki Rives.
The United Way of North Central Mississippi serves Choctaw, Oktibbeha, Winston, and Webster counties.
