Union County Shooting Update

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI)-The suspect killed from a gunshot wound by a Union County Sheriff’s Deputy has been identified.

62 year-old Clyde Bailey was shot at the home on County Road 51 deputies responded to on a domestic violence call shortly after 8 Tuesday (12-24) night.

The call ended with Bailey being shot who later died on his was to the hospital.

Edwards declined to note the circumstances that led to the shooting, but did confirm that only the deputy, the suspect and two females were in the house at the time of the shooting.
