Union County Shooting Death

UNION COUNTY, Miss.(WCBI) – A Union County man is dead after a domestic dispute Saturday afternoon.

Bobby Cobb is facing murder charges after the Sheriff’s department responded to a domestic disturbance around 1:45.

Upon arrival officers found Jeff Whitten suffering from multiple gun shot wounds.

Whitten died on the scene. Cobb will have his first court appearance Monday morning.
