Video: Two Teens Killed in Ripley Wreck

RIPLEY, Miss. (WCBI) — Ripley residents are mourning the loss of two teenagers killed in a car wreck early Saturday morning.

Tippah County deputy coroner Chris McCallister tells WCBI it happened around midnight on Moores Mill Road in Ripley.

McCallister says the teens were driving west on the road, when 18-year-old Diane Johnson lost control of the car, and hit a tree.

Johnson, and her passenger, 18-year-old Christopher Blackmon, were killed.

Both teens were wearing seat belts.

Only one car was involved in the wreck.
