Two people in Houston charged in connection to infant’s death
HOUSTON, Miss. (WCBI) – Two people in Houston are arrested in connection to the death of a three-month-old baby.
Marquis Fountain and Osheuna Reese were both charged with capital murder and felonious child abuse. Fountain was also charged with aggravated domestic violence.
On November 13, Houston police arrived at a location and found what was described as “domestic violence in progress.”
The infant found at the scene needed medical attention and was taken to Le Bonheur Hospital in Memphis.
The baby suffered broken ribs, bruising, bleeding, swelling on the brain, and a spinal injury and passed away six days later.
The investigation is still ongoing.
