Reported by: Allie Martin
ITAWAMBA CO., Miss. – (WCBI) Bond is set at $20,000 each for two Nettleton men accused of breaking into a neighbor’s trailer.
Itawamba County Sheriff Chris Dickinson says 24-year old Charles Daniel Stewart and 30-year old Johnnie Dale Miller were arrested this weekend .
Both are charged with burglary, breaking and entering. Sheriff Dickinson says the two are charged in connection with the burglary of a neighbor’s mobile home.
The sheriff says the neighbor caught the pair in the act, and then fought with and subdued one of the suspects. Dickinson says the pair will likely be linked to other burglaries in the area.
“They will be involved in some other burglaries that have happened prior to this most recent one we did catch them at. As I said, speaking earlier with one of the detectives, one of the people that broke into a residence, I think he took a pretty good knot on the head from the owner of the residence, we fully support our citizens in what they do and when they are defending their property,” says Sheriff Chris Dickinson.
Dickinson expects more charges to be filed in connection with other burglaries in the southwest part of the county.
